A Completely Different New Year
Six hours of performances and installations—everything you didn’t have time to see, hear, or feel in 2024.
How We’ll Celebrate the New Year:
SLOWLY;
SILENTLY;
LYING DOWN;
TO MINIMALIST MUSIC;
BY PARTICIPATING IN PERFORMANCES;
DOING THE STRANGE;
DISCOVERING THE NEW.
Who’s Hosting the Party:
Philipp Bakhtin, Maksim Nikanorov, Alissa Snaider, Artyom Zaitsev, Platon Vagin, Andronik Khachiyan.
What You Need to Know:
We don’t plan to do the usual New Year’s Eve stuff.
You’ll need wool socks to participate.
There will be live readings.
The program includes dancing to Karlheinz Stockhausen.
If you’re overwhelmed by multi-screens and polyphony, this isn’t the event for you.
Participants will receive homework (yes, really).
The program includes 100 fifteen-second lectures.
There’s a performance on the streets of Tallinn that you cannot opt out of.
You’ll take part in creating an aleatoric symphony.
Improvised, spontaneous changes to the program are part of the deal.
The venue is the contemporary art lab elektron.art (Kopli 27, Tallinn).
Participants will be added to a Telegram chat.
Food and alcohol are included in the ticket price.
Honestly, even we don’t fully know what’s going to happen.
Please Note:
Don’t buy a ticket as a gift.
Don’t bring lovers, spouses, classmates, moms, or dogs unless they’ve shown clear, articulated interest in a language you know well.
A unique and experimental way to welcome the New Year—see you there!
